The Children’s Fishing Tournament has been a very successful event since 1996. Since 2008, LYF now sponsors this family fun event. It is held at LOW’s front entrance pond which accommodates approximately 100 children. Trophies are awarded for the longest fish, heaviest fish, and the most fish in 4 age categories – ages 5 & 6, ages 7 & 8, ages 9 thru 11, and ages 12 thru 14. Because of the tremendous turn-out each year, children must register in advance.
